AGNER, Marilyn - Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, Marilyn Agner (nee Howgego), a lifetime resident of Woodstock, in her 72nd year. Wife and soul mate of Barry for 45 years. Adored mother of Chris Charron (Brenda) of Port McNicoll, Michèle Watson (Murray) of St. Thomas, and Sandy Peeters (Shayne) of Woodstock.Cherished grandmother of Craig (Stephanie), Candace, Lynn, Melissa, Stephanie (Drew) and Mark, and great grandmother of Alex, Alyssa, and Tyler. Step-daughter of Kay Howgego of St. Marys. Sister of Barb Pattinson, Jim Howgego and Cathy Howgego and sister-in-law of Fred Kennedy and Sandra Haslam. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Florence Howgego and sisters Shirley Julian and Joyce Kennedy. Marilyn worked for the CIBC and the Royal Bank for many years. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm, for a Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 2:30 pm with Rev. V. Jane Van Patter officiating. Cremation followed by interment later at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, VON Sakura House or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Smith-LeRoy, (519) 537-3611.
