C.W.A.C. Lorraine Byrne, of Ottawa, spent a leave with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Byrne of Union Creek, and also attended the funeral of her nephew, Philip Nicols, of Bobcaygeon, who was drowned in Pigeon River.
