Joseph Ether of Hamilton, while driving with Lorne J. Stewart of North Grimsby, met with an auto accident on the Smithville stone road about a mile west of that town on Tuesday evening which resulted in his death in Hamilton Hospital about 20 minutes after being admitted. There is a bad curve in the road at this place and just as they reached there the lights on the car went out. Before Stewart, who was driving, could get them on, the auto went over the bank of the Twenty Creek. There were three in the front seat. Dr. J.H. Leeds of Smithville was called and found Ether suffering from internal injuries. He at once rushed him to Hamilton Hospital, where he died. His father lives in Hamilton.
